Vintage Fennel/Kassel Transit Level with tripod & rod.

Description

Vintage Fennel/Kassel Transit Level with tripod & rod.. Condition is "Used".  Selling 'as is' with all features appearing to be in good working order.
Transit is sturdy brass construction.  Optics appear clear with no lens defects. Both vertical and horizontal motions have vernier readout in 5 minute gradations.  Comes with well made storage box, sun shade and plumb bob.  Tag in box indicates stadia ratio of 1/100 but stadia hairs do not appear in view.
Rod is 15', 3-section with 0.01' gradation.
Tripod is sturdy aluminum.
Manufactured in Western Germany (1945-1989) and sold by Dietreich/Post.
