Very unique piece and rare to find with box. Original owner paid ,100 in 1988. Believe the item dates to mid 1800s.
Estate Find - for age it appears in good condition. I have no tested for actual use. The glass is not cracked or broken. Wood box is in good overall condition for age - may want to put a new stain on it if desired. The brass has a slight bend / bent in some spots from use. Shows some cosmetic scratches, marks, etc from age and use. Not mint condition. Comes only with what is seen in photos, not sure if any parts are missing.
Box measures 15.5" wide x 7.375" deep x 4" tall.
Because of value signature confirmation with be required. Will be packed well and be insured.
