    Features
    a set screw that, as you tighten it, runs through both the upper and lower sections of the mount all the way down to base that fits directly on the receiver.
    Requires the base that Ruger gives you along with the rifle.
    You tighten this screw all they way down once you have the mount where you want it on the rails.
    Then you put the scope in the lower half of the rings and loosely attach the upper part of the rings, get the reticle straight and tighten the rings down.
    This mount brings the scope back about an extra 1.5" which is just about perfect! My field of view is now maxed out. Before my eye was so far from the eyepiece it looked like I was looking through a drinking straw or something.
