  • Condition: I believe this to be a Maxfield Parrish 1924 Calendar Top that has been cropped. The work is titled "The Venetian Lamplighter". This is the Fifth of a Series portraying the Development of Light and made for the Edison Lamp Works of the General Electric Company.The piece measures 7" across by 11" top to bottom. Has the description of the calendar series on the back that dates this piece to 1924This does come with a frame but there is no glass and the frame has some use marks.There is some damage to the cardboard - a scrape under "Edison" at the top that has been filled in with some ink, and a split on the lamp pole. Also, almost impossible to read "Edison" or "Mazda". There are also some small tears from the outside edges and more scrapes on the outside edges.
