    Cedarberg Phase Converters and Rotary Phase Converters permit operation of three phase motors on single phase current. Cedarberg Rotary Phase Converters and Static Phase Converters are used where three phase current is not available and the cost to bring three phase power if prohibitive.

    Cedarberg Phase Converters are designed to start motors within a specific horsepower range.
    Cedarberg Rotary Phase Converters are designed to start any motor from fractional horsepower up to the nameplate rating.
    Cedarberg Phase Converters and Rotary Phase Converters come ready for installation. Electrical installation hardware are not provided with the Static and Rotary Phase Converters.
    Instant reversal motors present no problem to the Static Phase Converter and Rotary Phase Converter. For Series I and Series III Static Phase Converters installation we recommend that frequent reversing not be done for extended periods of time.
    Some foreign and special motors require less starting current and may require a Static Phase Converters one size smaller than normal.
