No cracks, dents, or glue.
The head is in very good condition, solid connection, enamel. Stem is strong/straight, slight oxidation.
As one of the Navy's first
turbine
-engined warships,
Salem
departed
Boston
on 17 October 1908 to carry out extensive trials along the Atlantic coast.
No hallmarks were observed.
Overall, very good condition.
